Beyonce
Margot has loved Beyonce since she was very little. She gets very quiet when a Beyonce song comes on. We also use her songs to help Margot fall asleep when she needs to take a nap. So, we were very excited when we found out that Beyonce was going to be the half time show at the Super Bowl. Below are some pictures of Margot enjoying her idol.

8 months
Some of Margot's accomplishments at 8 months include:
Scooting (more like army crawling)
Eating puffs (rice like cheerios) by herself
Babbling all of the time
And getting her first ear infection. She had a really rough time with it. Slept well but did not eat like our little munchkin likes to. She had me worried for a bit because she really wasn't drinking at all but all the mommies assured me this was normal and that as long as she wasn't dehydrated she would be fine. Margot took the amoxicillin like a champ and finished all 10 days very easily.
Here is our 8 month picture. As you can see, it is not easy to contain an 8 month old.

Christmas
Margot and Daddy made this for Mommy. They love painting and I love the gifts they make!
Gramma, you have bells on your shirt.
What did I get?
I got a new Sophie!
I love to open gifts!
Our family
Look at all of this paper!
We had a really great first Christmas with Margot. She LOVED opening presents and playing with all of the boxes and paper. She was so engaged in all of the toys and really enjoys playing with them. I can't wait until she actually understands what goes on at Christmas. If we had this much fun this year, I think next year will be even better!
